We've seen plenty of racing games come out for the N64 over the past year. But as a whole, the Playstation has dominated the scene of racing games. Games like Gran Tourismo and Ridge Racer Type 4 have provided the powerhouse of racing games, both for the Playstation. But WDC (World Driver Championship) has changed that. This game has everything that you would want from a racing game, plus more. You can go head to head with a friend, or do the championship mode where you choose one of two teams and race their cars. If you do good, other teams will offer deals for you to race their cars as you progress. You will get better, faster cars as the game goes on. This is a very rewarding game.

The only thing that may draw people away from WDC is the fact that it's original driving style is very hard to control and get used to especially with the heavier, slowed cars. Don't let this stop you. Although I would not recommend this game to inpatient people. This game takes time, and it requires learning to get used to it's different style of driving. If you're willing to do that, you'll find WDC to be one of the best racers EVER for any system.

This game is great. Give it a try and see how you like it. Some people will hate it while others will find it to be a great game. The graphics are stunning and the racing is spectacular. WDC will provide a ton of action for a very long time. This is one of the best games ever to be released for the N64.
